The Queen's Building, Emmanuel College
The Queen's Building is in Emmanuel College, Cambridge:
Entry to the college is at the point marked A on the map, rather than the point marked 'Emmanuel College'.
The Queen's Building is accessible to wheelchair users. For attendees with visual or hearing impairments, please Contact Us in advance of the screenings for assistance.
Getting there
There is limited parking in central Cambridge, so we would recommend coming by public transport if possible.
By train
Both venues are a 5-minute taxi journey or a 15-20 minute walk from the train station. From Cambridge train station, walk straight down Station Road until you reach the end, then turn right onto Hills Road. Hills Road turns into Regent Street, and then St Andrew's Street. The Arts Picturehouse is on the left hand side coming from the station, above 'The Regal' pub. Emmanuel College is a little further down St Andrew's Street, on the right hand side. Go into the college and follow the signs to the Queen's Building (or ask for directions in the porter's lodge).
By bus
The bus station is a short walk from both venues. Coming from the bus station on Drummer Street, walk down Emmanuel Street and turn left. The entrance to Emmanuel College is almost immediately on the left hand side; follow the signs inside the college for directions to the Queen's Building (or ask in the porter's lodge for directions). The Arts Picturehouse is in the same direction from the bus station, but further down St Andrew's Street, on the right hand side (above 'The Regal' pub).
By car
If coming by car, park in either 'The Grand Arcade' (closest) or 'Queen Anne' (cheapest) car parks. Note that there is a one-way system in operation on St Andrew's Street. For'The Grand Arcade' car park, drive along Trumpington Street and then turn onto Pembroke Street; the turning for the car park is on the left hand side. After parking, return to Pembroke Street and turn left; it turns into Downing Street. Emmanuel College is almost immediately opposite the end of the road; go in, and follow signs to the Queen's Building. For the Arts Picturehouse, turn right onto St Andrew's Street after reaching the end of Downing Street and the venue will be on the right hand side (above 'The Regal' pub). For the 'Queen Anne' car park, walk diagonally left across Parker’s Piece. This will bring you on to St Andrew's Street, where you should turn right. The Arts Picturehouse will be on the left hand side, next to 'The Regal' pub. Emmanuel College is further along St Andrew's Street, on the right hand side.
